Robert Freeman Wexler has been forming his version of the fantastic for
many years. Recent publications include his first book, novella In
Springdale Town from PS Publishing, and stories in Thackery T. Lambshead
Pocket Guide to Eccentric and Discredited Diseases, The Journal of
Experimental Fiction, The Third Alternative, and Lady Churchill’s
Rosebud Wristlet. He began this story while sitting under a tarp in 95
degrees at the Kerville Folk Festival, Kerville, Texas, 1996. Many draft later
he thinks he’s finished with it. He was born in Houston, Texas and now
lives in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
