Douglas Lain

Douglas Lain was born at Graceland, in Memphis, Tennessee in 1970. His parents moved to Colorado Springs shortly after this event. They took Douglas with them.

In 1977 Elvis died and in 1981 the world lost John Lennon. Later Jim Henson died and then John Denver. Lain has nothing much in common with any of them.

Lain has been writing since he was eighteen, longer if you include book reports on Anne Frank and papers on the reality of Extrasensory Perception.

Douglas Lain currently lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife, son, and daughter. His short stories have appeared in Amazing Stories and The Third Alternative among other places.
